INNOVATION, COLLABORATION, AND CURIOSITY

When students are given the time to think and explore, an opportunity to make their ideas become reality, and have a road map to get there, they rise to the challenge.

Our Why

Leslee Dirnberger, J.D.

Founder, President of Aspire Education

Cheryl head shot grey.jpg

Cheryl Peterson, Ph.D.

Adjunct Professor, Hamline University, MN

Leslee's often misunderstood early fascination for US Senate hearings, arguing with US Senators, and discussing Federal Government policy issues guided her entry into law, and equipped her for life as a mom of 4 teenagers.

Leslee developed her love of green tea during her long hours of study at the College of William & Mary and Washington University School of Law. That love intensified, and she added copious amounts of chocolate, as she became a litigator, and then homeschooled her four children through high school; also teaching thousands of other teens worldwide for over 12 years.

Her unique training and experience, as well as her heart to empower parents and students in leadership development, critical thinking, and life skills, has been the bridge leading her from the practice of law into the world of Education Consulting and Leadership Coaching.

Cheryl obtained a B.A. in Elementary Education from Millikin University, an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Iowa University of Iowa, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota.

As an Educational Consultant and Blogger, @drcherylpeterson.com, she uses her 30 years of teaching experience at all levels to support families and teachers with an educational philosophy of play, practice, and purpose.

She is currently working on releasing her first book, "Because of 4...Be More!" An inspirational story and handbook to bring play, practice and purpose to their own life and those who need it most.

Leslee is teaming up with the amazing Dr. Cheryl Peterson to bring their shared vision to life: Empowering students to take their ideas and bring them to life!

Through project-based challenges, a system to strengthen positive character traits, and a lot of fun, Leslee and Cheryl will equip students and help them to take ownership of their future.

Students will have opportunities for growth and leadership that allows them to be more discerning and better at engaging others, while developing life skills such as persistence, good communication, self discipline, and tolerance.
